Memorial Service for Douglas Wayne Mulligan age 79 of Bassett, NE will be held on Saturday (Sept. 19, 2026) at 11:00 AM in the Bassett Methodist Church. A Graveside Committal Service with Military Honors by Wood Lake (NE) American Legion Post #202 will follow on Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Wood Lake. Doug Mulligan passed away Sunday (Sept. 13, 2026) at his home in Bassett.

Wife: Darleen of Bassett

Sons: Ryan (Heather) Mulligan of Omaha, NE

& Mike (Leanne) Mulligan of Lincoln, NE

Along with grandchildren and other family members

Those attending services are asked to please wear casual attire.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family in Doug’s name for a future designation.
