April D. (Fredericksen) Hinrichs

April D. (Fredericksen) Hinrichs was born on July 25, 1969 in Tulsa, OK to Donald and Joan (Koch) Fredericksen. She passed away surrounded by family on October 9, 2023 at the University Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE at the age of 54.
April’s love for her family and friends was truly genuine. Her grand-daughters, Eve and Izzy, brought her a tremendous amount of pleasure and joy. She shared many, many miles together riding on the motorcycle with her husband, Corvin, enjoying nature’s scenery. They especially treasured the Oregon Coast, the Colorado Mountains, and the BlackHills of South Dakota. She was knowledgeable and passionate about nurturing and arranging flowers. April’s beautiful smile became apparent with simple things like eating seafood, discovering fossils, snuggling furbabies, and listening to Blues music. She was known for being sincere, kind-hearted, and compassionate. Her mantra was placing others’ needs before her own.
April’s memory is cherished by her husband Corvin Hinrichs of Ainsworth, NE; son Evan K. Atkinson of Long Pine, NE; stepdaughter Andrea Hinrichs of Columbus, NE; two grand-daughters; and numerous other family members and friends. A private event will be held.
