Roger D. Allen

Roger Dale Allen, age 54, was born on February 21, 1966 to Gene and Audrey “Susie” Allen. Roger passed away on November 30, 2020 in his home.
Roger graduated from Ainsworth Community School in 1984. From there he had numerous jobs with his last ones being at Farmers Ranchers Coop and RK Cattle as a truck driver. Roger had three children Devin, Haylee, and Jody Allen. He married Carrie Porter (Anderson) on June 21, 2019 and from this marriage gained three step children Jasmine, Isaiah, and Mallory Porter. Roger loved shooting, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Roger was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Susie, as well as other family members. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Carrie of Ainsworth; children Devin Allen and Tasha Kolowich of Cario, NE, Haylee Allen and Will of Exeter, CA, Jody Allen of Ainsworth; step children Jasmine, Isaiah, and Mallory Porter of Ainsworth; grandchildren Weston and Ketch of Exeter, CA; brother Lorne and wife Becky of Ainsworth, sisters Tammy Stec and husband Scott of Long Pine, NE, Kristine “Kristy” Schiller and husband Steve of Gillette, WY and many nieces and nephews and other family members.

Private Graveside Services were held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at the Ainsworth Cemetery in Ainsworth, Nebraska, with Pastor Mick Thornton officiating. Honorary Urn Bearers were: Devin Allen, Haylee Allen, Jody Allen, Jasmine Porter, Isaiah Porter and Mallory Porter. Memorials were suggested to the family in Roger’s name for future designation.
