Judy Lynn Haynes age 39, passed away on May 12, 2015 in Bassett, Nebraska at her home. She was born on March 21, 1976, in Cozad, Nebraska. At one year of age, she was adopted by Willis and Betty Haynes.
Judy graduated from Rock County High School in 1995. She went to Bonner School of Cosmetology in Fremont Nebraska. She married Jeff Fessler in 1997, to that union three children were born, Dalton, Sable and Pheobe. Over the years Judy worked as a dietary aide and at Subway. She loved Husker football and loved fishing and horses.
Judy was preceded in death by her infant son, Dalton. She is survived by her twin daughters, Sable and Pheobe of Blue Hill, Nebraska, parents, Willis and Betty Haynes of Blue Hill; brother, Scott Haynes and wife Heidi of Lincoln, Nebraska; sister, Nadean Wilkerson and husband Rod of Pauline, Nebraska; brother, Dan Ridenour of Norton, Kansas, brother, Jimmy Ridenour, and sister, Lynn Rascon and biological mother, Dorothy Carter of Shattuck, Oklahoma, along with cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Bassett, Nebraska. Pastor Melody Brink officiated the service. Special CD selections of "Far Away" by Nickelback and "Don't Cry For Me" by Libby L. Allen, were provided. Pallbearers were, Jeff Overy, C.J. Hawkins, Trevor Wilkerson, Rod Wilkerson, Devon Wilkerson and Mike Smith. Honorary bearers were all of Judy's family and friends. Burial was held at the Bassett Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Hoch Funeral Home of Bassett.
