John Edwards Ammon

A Celebration of Life Service was held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Bassett, Nebraska. Pastor Brent Graves officiated over the service with Pastor Rod Heilbrun assisting. Music was provided by Marjorie Wilkins. Congregational selections of "It Is Well With My Soul", "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "Amazing Grace" was led by John's son, Dr. Royce J. Ammon. The Eulogy was also presented by Dr. Royce J. Ammon. Pallbearers were Dennis Ammon, Jerry Ammon, Keith Ammon, Kurt Ammon, Neil Ammon and Tyler Ammon. Honorary bearers were, all of John's other family and friends. Burial was held at the Bassett Memorial Park Cemetery in Bassett, Nebraska, under the direction of Hoch Funeral Home of Bassett. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Assembly of God Church of Bassett in John's name.
