Isabella E. (Irish) Roggow-Galbraith

Isabella Ellen (Irish) Roggow-Galbraith was born to Albert and Goldie (Wales) Irish on March 9th, 1918 on a farm southeast of Brocksburg, Nebraska. She was one of nine children.
Isabella attended school at Brocksburg country school completing the 8th grade.
In 1937, Isabella married Sam Roggow at Winner South Dakota. To this union, 3 children were born, Melvin, Marvin and Doris. Sam passed away in January of 1967. On June 12, 1968, Isabella married Orville Galbraith at Sundance, Wyoming. Orville passed away on June 13th, 1988. Isabella worked throughout her lifetime as a waitress and cook. She had a love for dancing. Her hobbies included knitting, making quilts and gardening.
Isabella passed away on February 5th, 2013 at the Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth, Nebraska at the age of 94.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Sam, second husband Orville, and son Fred along with her seven siblings. Isabella is survived by her three children, Melvin (Irma) Roggow of Rawlins, Wyoming, Marvin (Dixie) Roggow of Ainsworth, Nebraska, Doris McMurry also of Casper, Wyoming. Four grandchildren, Sam and Justin Roggow, Kelly and Gary Wenzel, along with five great-grandchildren. One brother, Delmar (Frances) Irish of Pocatello, Idaho; One sister, Wanda (Earl) Cunningham of Wendell, Idaho; along with nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on February 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth, Nebraska. Chaplain Garry Roggow officiated over the service. CD selections of "Crying in The Chapel" by Elvis Presley and "Remember When" by Alan Jackson was provided. Pallbearers were, Marvin Roggow, Melvin Roggow, Garrett Mortimer, Justin Roggow, Sam Roggow, Gary Wenzel and Chris Burrows. Burial was held at the Ainsworth Cemetery under the direction of Hoch Funeral Home. Memorials were suggested to the family in her name.
