Mr. Francis E. Bejot

Francis Edwin Bejot, 84, of Ainsworth Nebraska passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Brown County Hospital.
Francis was born May 2, 1934 in Ainsworth, Nebraska to Jesse and Leah (Primmer) Bejot. Francis lived his entire life in Ainsworth. He graduated from Ainsworth high in 1951, started farming the next day and had multiple business endeavors throughout his lifetime. Francis married Melba Waits on October 25, 1952 in Gregory, South Dakota. Four children were born to them; Cindy, Steven, Tom, and Terry.
Francis was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lewis and Victor. He is survived by his wife Melba, children Cindy (Bejot) Price, Steve (Brenda) Bejot, Tom (Mary) Bejot and Terry (Susan) Bejot, grandchildren Kevin Price, Brett Price, Erin (Bejot) Rathe, Joel Bejot, Brent Bejot, Jessica (Bejot) Lentz, Jason Bejot, Nicole (Bejot) Francis, Alia Bejot, Sarah (Bejot) Christ, and Lauren Bejot. 15 great grandchildren, brother Dennis (Janet) Bejot, sister Mary Lou Van Doozer, sister Lorideen (Norman) Larabee, brother-in-law Les (Norma) Waits. Francis adored his children and grandchildren and valued family time above all.
Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church in Ainsworth, Nebraska, with Pastor David Randall and Pastor Wayne Owens officiating the service. Music was provided by Sherry Campbell with a special instrumental selection of “How Great Thou Art.” The CD selection of “Kiss An Angel Good Morning” was also provided. Pallbearers were, Kevin Price, Brett Price, Joel Bejot, Brent Bejot, Jason Bejot and Mark Bejot. Organizational Rites were given by Ainsworth Elks Lodge #1790. Burial followed at the Ainsworth Cemetery in Ainsworth, Nebraska. Hoch Funeral Home of Ainsworth was in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Brown County Hospital or Ainsworth Volunteer Fire Department.
