Mr. Donald M. Bower
October 23, 1941 — January 9, 2019
Donald M. “Don” Bower, age 77 of Ainsworth, Nebraska passed away at Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth on January 9, 2019.
Don enjoyed music, motorcycles, leather and woodwork craftsmanship and “round the table” coffee conversations with friends. Don was best known for his kindness and generosity, no matter who you were. One thing for sure, Don led a complete and full life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donovan Richard Bower and Eunice (Byington) Crotty; sister, Sandy Balint Fields and brother, Richard “Dick” Bower. Don is survived by his sons, Donovan W. (Karma) Bower of Bellevue, Nebraska and Evan M. (Brandi) Bower of Parker, Colorado; step-granddaughters, Abbygayl and Sage Meyer and Braeleigh Stroud; step-grandson, Harrison Stroud; nieces and nephews; and many loving and loyal friends.
A Gathering of family and friends and time of sharing for Don Bower will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth from 9 to 11 AM. In lieu of plants or flowers, all memorials for Don Bower can be made to the Sandhills Iron Horse Riders or the Ainsworth Pink Ladies Organization.
