Mr. David A. Cole

David A. Cole, 76, of Ainsworth, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013.
He was born fourth out of five children in Ainsworth on November 19, 1936, to Glen and Lena (Jones) Cole. Dave grew up in southern Brown County and attended Ainsworth High School. He married Judy Walton on September 15, 1958. To this union were born two daughters, Teri and Joni, and one son, Chad.
Dave spent most of his life farming and ranching. Dave and Judy owned and operated the Pineview Drive-In Theatre from 1969 until 1998, and the Royal Theatre from 1976 until 2001. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending his free time hunting and fishing. A highlight in Dave's life was an elk-hunting trip with his son in New Mexico. Dave was happiest when surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, and his faithful companion, Addy.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Lena; his brother, Earl; and his infant twin daughters.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Cole of Ainsworth; daughter, Teri (Greg) Soles of Ainsworth and grandchildren Ashley and Adam; daughter, Joni (Mark) Kozisek of Ainsworth and grandchildren Tye, Drew, Claire and Conner; son, Chad (Lisa) Cole of Omaha and grandchildren Josh, Olivia, Hannah and Caleb; brother, Alanson Cole of Ainsworth; sister, Betty Wales of Ainsworth; sister, Donna Gibson of Springview, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Dorothy Cole of Ainsworth; brother-in-law, Jim (Ginger) Walton of Ainsworth; sister-in-law, Shirley (Floyd) Crone of Ainsworth; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastors Eldon Davis and Gary Graesser. Pallbearers were Dave's six grandsons, Tye Kozisek, Drew Kozisek, Conner Kozisek, Adam Soles, Josh Cole, and Caleb Cole. Honorary pallbearers were, Tom Burke, Gary Davis, Dan Johnson, Dennis Miller, Jerry Priest, Floyd Crone, and Jim Walton. A special piano instrumental of "How Great Thour Art" was provided by Sherry Campbell, Vickie Crone, Madi Crone provided a selection of "In The Garden" and Josh Cole provided a guitar selection of "Amazing Grace." Special remembrances were given by Ashley Albrecht. Burial was held at the Ainsworth Cemetery.
