William A. "Bill" Ganser III

William A. "Bill" Ganser III was born in Johnstown Nebraska on May 8, 1930. He was raised on a ranch on Goose Creek in Cherry County and graduated from Curtis Agriculture School in 1946. Bill and Janice (Jarman), from Chambers Nebraska, were married on November 6, 1950.
Bill passed away quietly at home near Ainsworth, Nebraska the evening of November 19. He is survived by his wife Janice; sons, Bill IV from Eugene Oregon, John (Betty) from Sidney Nebraska, Tim (Lori) from Ainsworth, and Pete from Ainsworth; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Bud, mother Joy (Williams), sister, Shirley, brother, Tom and grandchild Cameron.
A Memorial prayer/Rosary service was held at Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth with Father Phil Flott serving as Celebrant. Follow up services and Inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Ainsworth Food Pantry or to the Brown County Ambulance Association.
